Residential building

The building is located near the port‐channel of Pesaro and the sea, with all its aspects, strongly influenced and characterized the shape and distribution of the interior spaces. The large balconies, located to the west, are at the same time extension of the internal living area and effective protection from the sun in the summer, the large sliding glass doors allow you to admire the Colle San Bartolo and the coast that are tinged with red at sunset, the terrace garden on the top floor creates sweet detachment from everyday life.
Empty and full balanced each other give rise to pleasant play between light and shadow; the prospects to the north and south appear as uniform surface as closure of the entire volume and treated with different coatings because of their opposite orientation; the entrance of the building breaks, however, this unity making very dynamic the south‐east point: the invitation from the public highway is literally carved into the south wall and the east facade welcomes the shelter steel, natural continuation of coverage obtained from the cut.
